Rainforest Functions

The Rainforest at the Wild Food Farm is Phillip Island’s most unique event space. It’s a lush indoor garden of tall tree ferns and a thriving understory of ground covers and delicate ferns and flowers. A cascading stream tumbles over stones and under picturesque bridges, before ending its journey in a huge rock-pool.

Easily accessible from the Wild Food Farm Cafe and kitchen, It comfortably seats a hundred people with options to expand as required. Smaller gatherings like product launches, discussion groups, club meetings and displays can reserve space as required and access meals and refreshments directly from the Wild Food Farm Cafe.

Outback Chef’s Bush BBQ

Let’s face it we all need a little extra sizzle from time to time. So every so often when the weather is just right, we turn on special Bush BBQ Days.

Our Bush BBQ block is picture postcard perfect, set on rolling green lawns with plenty of shade from the tall gum trees and lots of inquisitive wildlife. Wild Food Farm’s chefs are in charge of the hotplates and grills ready to cook your order to perfection.

BBQ cuisine is where Wild Food Farm’s unique herbs, spices and bush rubs really come into their own, our Bush BBQ packs can be ordered and tailored to suit you.  All you have to do is cook and enjoy.

Bookings are essential for this area to ensure that we can cater for your needs.

Cafe

Our Wild Food Farm Cafe is a friendly place where locals and visitors can relax and enjoy our ever changing menu of modern Australian cuisine inspired by native bush ingredients. It’s a homestead with long verandahs, under cover, offering sunshine or shade. Prefer to be totally outdoors? You can claim a trestle table under the umbrellas on the front lawn or in the courtyard. And on Summer Saturdays, there’s live music in the Rainforest. It’s undercover, all weather.
