Since pioneering times plaiting with KANGAROO leather has been widely practised in the Australian Outback. No leather can be cut into such fine thongs, yet retain strength like Kangaroo. The Australian bushman has added a unique style to an ancient art. The pelts are available through the government's kangaroo conservation program. They are tanned with an extract from the bark of the wattle tree. The thongs are cut, bevelled and plaited by hand.
All belts are hand made, plaited the traditional stockman's way since the 1930's.

IT'S OFTEN TRICKY GETTING THE RIGHT BELT SIZE........
The length of the belt is taken from the leather at the buckle end to the final hole of the belt.... after that there is an extra 4" to the end of the belt.... so please keep in mind that if you are a size 34" waist order the next size up (ie 36") to take in the clothes (tuck-in) and where you wear your belt.
