This wonderful native herb is worth trying, trying adding it to roasted vegetables instead of using fennel.

Aniseed myrtle known for it's distinct licorice aroma and flavour.  It can be used where you might use star anise or fennel.  A native of northern NSW it is a bushy tree growing up to 25m with fluffy white flowers in Spring.  The leaves are dried  and crushed for culinery purposes.
