A great bush food flavour, distinct smell of licorice

This bush food is native to southern Queensland and northern New South Wales, but will grow as far south as Melbourne, Victoria.  A great herb to use in your cooking, you can substitute aniseed myrtle for pernod or star anise which it is very similar to.
